Tyman PLC and ERA are a leading global supplier of Door and Window ‘fenestration’ products for a wide range of channels to market from DIY suppliers, to OEM door and window manufacturers, distributors, building products suppliers, Architectural Ironmongers and more. ERA is the UK and Ireland arm of Tyman PLC.
The initial role was as Interim Commercial Director whilst the organisation searched for a permanent person located close to their Head Office site. The Interim Commercial Director role included the daily operation and progression of the whole sales organisation, inbound and outbound telesales / telemarketing, marketing function, product management and the whole commercial strategy.
Development of Strategy was a core element and the role morphed into a strategy consulting role once they found a permanent commercial director. A strategy was developed for around 15 channels to market and included the development of the channel strategies with the various teams, as well as implementation of strategy, strategic planning and coaching. The derived strategy is being utilised today.
