Strategy and Business Growth Interim Director

GEA is a global leader in Process and packaging equipment and solutions for a wide variety of sectors including the Food and Beverage industries, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, Utilities and more. The business has 18,000 employees and a turnover in excess of €5 Bn. The company is now listed on the Dax top 40 companies in Germany.

The company needed someone to develop a strategy and business plan to regain growth in the UK and Ireland as well as bring Market Intelligence and Business Excellence to the commercial side of the organisation in these markets. Besides bringing the necessary skillset, I worked with 4 divisions to meet their needs to develop growth through a wide-ranging set of activities. Further, I developed and we implemented a Change Management project for the UK and Ireland to establish cross-divisional collaboration and develop best practice methodologies, for customer centricity, market coverage, lead generation and pipeline management.
